Mississippi River Little Falls Minnesota by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

I had a double cheeseburger and two orders of fries at a cafe in Little Falls. The waitress told me I couldn't eat two orders of fries. She didn't know that I was famished and I wolfed the meal down in 15 minutes. Left the cafe and did the portage at the dam in a downpour. I paddled along the river till I found a campsite under a bridge. The temperature dipped down to 38 degrees and I slept cold and wet throughout the night.
