Blackeyed Susan in the Prairie by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

 I planted these blackeyed susan in our prairie. They lasted in abundance for about three years and then they disappeared. They would come back every so often throughout the years but never in abundance.

I have been coming to this small county park since I was three. Picnics, hiking with my dogs, Elementary School science class with Mr. Stone. There use to be a beautiful weeping willow tree that over hanged the lake.
