Poetry from the book {The Lion and the Sun} by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

                        Operation Mannequin

                The golden mannequin of mars

As the beying goat gets raped on a nightly basis

A mannequin magicaly moves throughout the town of Munising

The posing and posture always different

I and the ninja guild of the Stairway Kayaks roam the night to kidnap the mannequin

We find her posing as a ships captain

She was a pleasant piece of wood the envy of any 2x4

Confucius say,"fuck a mannequin and you get splinters in your dick"

We forced the mannequin to talk by using a staple gun

She recited poems, and stories of Ojibway Lore to us in a sweet beautiful voice

I tied her to my kayak along with a cinder block and paddled out to Shipwreck Point and threw her overboard

She is now known as Helen, she sits near the George (shipwreck)

Her hand sometimes seems to wave

She's the one who didn't make it in the row boat to Grand Islands shore.
