Yellowstone River by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

                   Yellowstone National Park
You go down a flight of stairs, past a small falls to a sand bar along the river. I shared this view with 300 park visitors from Japan, and Germany. The park is jam packed with people. You can hike away from all the people , but you gain bears that view you as a food source.

Conch Shell by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

This conch shell sat on a shelf in my parents library for years. It is amazing to see it intact after all the football and rough housing we did in the house when my Mother was gone. Most of my Moms cherished items have been super glued in time before she entered the home. Every time she got back she would ask us what we had broken. Our super gluing skills had become flawless.

Sunken Boat on the Wapsi by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

This is a sunken boat just off my Aunts dock in Independence, Iowa. I don't know the story on this boat. If it was one of their boats, or if it drifted in during a flood.
