Poem for the book (The Lion and the Sun) by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

                        On this sea of Hatred

                        Alone, alone forever

                  Nothing solid, Nothing real

Watching the wheels roll on the magic bus

                      Looking for Happiness.

Poetry from the book {The Lion and the Sun} by Troy Richard Thomas

                  You can show no weakness

                        No Sorrow, No pain

Can share no thoughts, no Feelings

Shelve all opinions to the grave

The work day world does not care about you

Just put a don't disturb sign on your door knob.

Poetry from the book {The Lion and the Sun} by Artist Troy Richard Thomas

I am alive on the water

                          Six days on land

I clean pots and toilets and fold wet tents

You are captive along with other captives who have the same ambitions and dreams

The sky sets a brilliant chrome behind dark viridian conifer trees

There is little for me on land accept for skipping rocks and the blood thirsty insects

The black flies turn your ears into mystery meat

And the mosquitos plunge there needles into you while your trying to take a poop in a hole

Some have been known to fall in.
